About Me
Hi, I’m Aaron—an indie game developer by night and a full-time professional during the day. I created Code Biome to document my journey of building a game from scratch, share what I learn along the way, and connect with others who are passionate about programming and game design.
After a few years away from active development, I’m getting back at it refocused, reenergized, and more committed than ever to bringing this project to life. My current game is a 2D exploration experience built in the Godot engine, featuring procedurally generated terrain, pixel art visuals. I’m handling everything from the core mechanics to the world-building, and I’m excited to share the journey as I continue to develop each aspect of the game.
Outside of coding, I also run a photography business at www.astromammoth.com, where I capture and sell wildlife, nature, and astrophotography prints. That work taps into the same creative curiosity that drives my game development. It’s all about exploring the world, whether virtually or through the lens.
Whether you’re a fellow dev, a student, or someone who just loves games and creativity, thanks for stopping by. I hope what you find here informs, inspires, or at least reminds you that it’s never too late to pick things back up and build something new.
